Makes alot of fog quickly and for extended periods of time. Will humidifiy your reptile cage. Be sure to mount hose so that it puts fog into the cage from above, not from a side wall as water will collect in the tube and drip. I you mount it with the hose pointing down into the cage any drips will fall back into the machine instead of the cage. Use distilled water to keep it running in god condition and avoid mineral build up which will cause it to stop working. Good product.

I have been recommending this product to everyone, as it works wonderful… until it stopped working! It has to work hard to keep a 40 gallon tank humid, so it is on for about 3/4 of the day. I checked the manual to troubleshoot, and read the following:
“Operating the fogger in the “On” mode for 24 hours per day will REDUCE the life span of the fogger.”
Apparently, so will operating it for the majority of the day. I would say I have had this for two months, working perfectly, then it just stopped working. I am going to try and return it to the manufacturer, and perhaps try another unit, but until I try another unit, I can not know if this is a defective unit or if it stops working under heavy use in just two months normaly. So, I can’t recommend this product anymore.

I’ve had my GTP for over a year and have been using this product since the beginning. She has flourished greatly due to the ease of using this product in conjuction with a heat panel and the hygrotherm. All I have to do is change the water in the bottle. I do recommend using distilled water since I am here to buy another one due to mineral buildup. Make sure to clean inside the unit itself when changing the water to avoid buildup. Great product.

When I first got this, I thought it was amazing. Then my water dragon got a respiratory infection from the fog (water was hot) cooling so fast. I didn’t know that was the problem at the time, so I continued to use it, and it stopped working completely after 3 months. I had it on all day and off at night. I now use a pumped garden sprayer with warm water, works great and my wrists don’t get tired like they do from the trigger sprayers.

This device does exactly what it’s supposed to do, and it does it pretty well. I don’t have any complaints with it. In the long run, some parts may be fragile if not handled carefully, but the reservoir bottle lasts a surprisingly long time when it’s only run a few times per day.
There’s no point trying to modify a household ultrasonic humidifier when you can purchase this one for the same price, and it gets the job done well. It’s pretty quiet, too.
