I purchased a double 75w pack of these bulbs. I use them for my uromastyx cage where the basking temp. has to be at 120 degrees and the lights on for 10 hrs a day. The first bulb I used lasted a little more than a month. The second one that I had used didn’t even last a month. I feel that this bulb should last longer than this. I used the equivalent bulb from a different brand and it lasted months!

I ordered these bulbs and received two 50w bulbs. It appears the description and photo have been changed and don’t reflect what wattage you will receive. Either way, the 50w bulbs seem to be doing the job, as our turtle that lives in a 10 gallon aquarium has not exhibited any signs of stress or degraded health.

The reason I am only giving a one star to my review is that the picture was deceptive. The basking lamp shown was a 100 watt and when I received my order, I was shipped 75 watt lamps. I could have probably bought the 75 watt lamps locally at a price that would have been just as good as what I paid. I think this is deceptive advertising. The lamps themselves are fine, although not what I thought I was ordering.

Be very care of the pictures of the items that you order. I ordered a 100 watt bulb and was sent a 75 watt. When I called ZooMed saying I received the wrong item, they said it was Amazons fault for not changing the picture. Well..it would of been cheaper for me to drive to the store at this rate.
