This unit really should not bill itself as a “mister”. It is a sprayer and not a very “fine” one at that. The little motor inside does not build up enough water pressure to disperse a fine mist spray – but, rather shoots a course spray. Depending on how you are using it it can be pretty good, but, if you want a fog or fine mist to cover a large area, this is not for you.

  2. Below is the original post. A few months later the nozzle, no matter how many times you soak it will only drip. I would buy a replacement but I can’t find one anywhere. I wish there was more competition in the market for this. I still use it but it is not enough.

This product is great. It not only saves you loads of time from hand pumping the mist but also gives your pet and plants what they need. No matter what your schedule is , your pet/ plant is getting fresh water and the terranium has increased humidity levels. At first my veiled chameleon was thrown off from the sound but he got used to it in less than 2 days. Its also great for the ficus I have in their because I have two heat lamps on in the winter and the constant mist (I have it scheduled to mist for 60 seconds every hour) prevents the tree from drying out. Important tip is to use filtered water or else you will have to soak the nozzle in vinegar really often. I really think it is great. I just went away on vacation and had my friend come to feed him. It was great to know that he had access to water the day she wasn’t able to show up.

  3. This unit worked reasonably well for a few weeks, though as noted by other reviewers, it produced more of a slow stream rather than a mist, however after a month or so the motor became louder and louder, and the water stream became more of a drip than a stream, until it became un-usable. The build quality is very poor. I would suggest spending a little more and getting something that will last.

I am really not all that impressed with this, especially for the price. The spray is more of a stream than a true spray – a manual spray bottle does a much better job. The convenience of auto spray is nice – but it is fairly loud & annoying. I wouldn’t buy this again.
