It is easy to use and rated up to a 5 gallon…I thought mine being a 6 gallon wouldn’t be a problem but this sissy thing bearly heats up at all.

I stupidly bought this heater for a 20 gallon tank. It did absolutely nothing at all. It didn’t raise the temperature 1 degree. I set it up right next to the thermometer so I could tell if there was any degree change, and there wasn’t. When I touched the heater (after it had been on for a few hours), it didn’t feel warm at all.
I’m guessing I had no success because it is a heater for 5-10 gallon tanks and not 20 gallon tanks. However, I also feel like it should have made the thermometer go up at least one degree.
