The dogs were only mildly interested in the bottle buddy but I think it’s going to make a swell toy for my granddaughter!

This is a great toy that my 11 mo beagle loves!
This plush toy is a “stuffed” animal that has an empty water bottle inside instead of stuffing. It has a velcro flap that opens at the bottom so you can easily replace the bottle when it’s worn out. The bottle gives a fun crunching sound and the material makes the bottle last longer and keeps it from exposing sharp edges that can cut my puppy’s mouth.
I used to give my pup empty water bottles to play with until he started tearing thru them too fast. I bought this in the hopes that he could have fun crunching them again without the danger of ripping the bottle up.
So far it’s been working like a charm!
The only thing I’ve noticed is that he’s popped the seam on one of the bottom feet. Luckily, there’s no stuffing in the feet and the feet aren’t connected to any main seam on the body, so I could cut off the feet without any real harm to the toy or simply sew back the seam.

He’s already got a small hole in the outer part but the inner lining almost looks like kevlar so I doubt he can make it through it. The outer part of the toy probably won’t make it more than a week or two though.
I really like the velcro bottom that allows you to put a new bottle in it…if the plush outside lasts long enough.

My Border Collie LOVES these bottle buddies! They come with a bottle inside so they come out of the packaging making a wonderful crinkling sound. The bottle is tightly velcroed in and can easily be changed when it gets too flat. She’s a mighty chewer and can chew the ears and feet off the buddy (otherwise it would get 5 stars), but the tough lining keeps the bottle holding body intact for weeks of play. She loves it so much I got the pig too! We play catch or she just loves to throw them in the air and play by herself since they give great sound feedback. A wonderful toy!

My two dogs play tug of war with this at times and it has held up well. They also enjoy playing with it one-at-a-time and like the crackling sound that the bottle makes. This toy is light weight enough for my chihuahuas but large enough for big dogs to play with. It has velcro on the bottom so one can remove the bottle if you don’t like the noise or want to replace the bottle.
