It’s what I was looking for…my only problem with it is that a pint is smaller than I thought, but it still works well and looks good. Plus, somehow it has made it so my dog doesn’t splash as much water on the floor as he used to, which is nice!

I’ve been looking for an inexpensive raised dish set for my cat and this fits the bill just fine in almost every respect. The bowl size is good – a little on the large side, if anything. It holds about a cup and a half of food, which is about three times what she needs, but it’s still okay. The height is exactly right for her – she’s an average sized cat and she doesn’t need to crouch down at all now, which has totally eliminated her picking up food from her dish and dropping it on the floor to eat it.
I only had two minor personal quibbles. I’m not fond of stainless steel dishes (a ceramic option would have been great!), only because she likes her canned food heated and it’s a pain to heat it in one dish and transfer it and I’d love to see a three dish set so I can use it for her water, hard food and soft food all together.
Other than that, I’m thrilled with this – it’s a great value!

After fighting with ants getting into the cat food bowls that were on the floor, I decided it was time to find something that was raised off of the floor to try and deter their infiltration. These bowls fit the task perfectly, and had the bonus of reducing the amount of “spilled” food from the cats as they now have it at a more natural height. The volume of food that fits in these bowls is more than enough for my two cats. For the other reviewers that complain that it wobbles and makes noise – it is pliable enough to just bend a leg slightly to get rid of any wobble. Very good deal!
