came home….opened one box…heard noises like broken glass or metal…both feeders we bought showed signs of damage. Some injuries seemed like they could have been caused in shipping others seemed like someone was a little heavy in tightening the nuts when assembling.
Still it is the best design for a feeder. Will try once more to get a good set.

The shipping box arrived with 2 holes, and the contents rattled. The box was packed poorly. The birdcage was broken due to insufficient packing materials. I returned it the same day but now will have to wait a long time for my refund or a credit – whichever they deem appropriate. I should have shopped at a big home store.

I appreciated on reviewers comments about needing to glue the plastic covers on the perches. Suggest this should be done at the factory. I was able to do the glueing before I loaded the seed. Since they are loose, birds could not stay on them as originally sent.
