I like using these bright bags because I walk my dog at a popular park and I want people to know I pick up after him. I don’t want someone stepping in a mess, much less glaring at me thinking it was my dog!

I’ve never had a bag break and they are easy to open. They’ve got the Bags on Board logo printed on them. They’re pretty sheer, so if you don’t want to be obvious about what you’re carrying, go with a black bag. I usually put an extra one under the roll, so that I don’t unexpectedly run out.

Its great that they come in different colors but I’m more impressed by the fact it has a black bar across the bag design. I used to have a hard time telling which bag ended and when the next one began. Its made it easier and its durable too.

I’ve been using the original blue Bags on Board refills off for over 10 years and have never had a problem. I ordered these for a change of pace; they are more transparent than the originals, which wouldn’t bother me except they are also not as sturdy. I was using a bag from the 3rd roll in the package, and a hole tore while I was picking up. Ick! I will order the traditional blue rolls in the future!

This review is pretty straight forward. These bags are great just like their blue bags. I love the Bags on Board holder in which their bags fit.

It doesn’t say ANYWHERE on the package that these bags are biodegradable–which is the whole reason I ordered them. To avoid literally hundreds of plastic bags (nearly 1,000 per year, since we have 2 dogs) going into the environment annually from this household alone! If they were biodegradable, then manufacturer would say so. Don’t be mislead. I’m returning mine.
