I honestly don’t know if this product works because I don’t need it. What I’ve been using for years works for my cats. I’ve had a total of four cats that I’ve used this on and have absolutely no problems with fleas or ticks. Two of these cats were indoor/outdoor cats, in Florida, where fleas are more than abundant. I simply put an amethyst in their water. I know, it makes no logical sense. I thought the same thing when a friend told me, but I tried it anyway and for some reason it works. The first time I used it was with my cat Zeus. I had just gotten him out of the pound and he took off on me for 10 days. When he came back he was loaded with fleas (he was white, and the fleas were very visible on him). I put an amethyst in his water and didn’t use anything else. Within a day or so, they were gone. Since then I have never put anything on any cat for fleas. You can buy an amethyst stone in any new age store for a dollar or two. Because I have a dog and three cats I have a large water bowl so I put two in it, just to be sure. (No, I’m sorry, it doesn’t work for dogs).
If ticks are the problem, I’m not sure about the amethyst. I don’t live in a heavily wooded area. Zeus had no ticks on him when he came home with the fleas but I’ve never found a tick on my cats either. Is it because there are simply no ticks in my area or does the amethyst work for ticks too? I don’t know.
Personally, I love not putting chemicals on my cats, and how much more cost effective can you get than one investment of a couple of dollars that lasts forever?

I thought i would order this online since i didnt have time to get to a pet store when i was working from 8-8, well almost 4 weeks went by and the product never came. After i called eventually the product was delivered, by that point my house was already infested with fleas. wouldnt order this online again.

I orderd on the 31st of December by Jan 26th or 27th I had not received my order after multipul calls to the company Amazon ordered from. They finally gave me a refund then I receive a wrong order the next day. Their right hand did not know what their left hand was doing. I will not order from them ever again. I spent all the money I had alloted for the cats advantage and then had to wait and extra month to be able to treat my cats. I was not happy to say the least.

Advantage for cats by Bayer Health Care is snake oil. I bought a tube for my kitten by advice from a local vet and applied this stuff carefully according to instructions. 3 days have passed and my kitty still keeps on scratching itself and I keep catching fleas on it. In other words, the product does not work as advertised. Don’t waste your money on this snake oil.

I’m sure they wouldn’t put this on their testimonials page I tried, but I have been a faithful customer of theirs and only now for quite some time and now I expierenced an issue. I ordered online as I usually do and get my order pretty quickly and now I will not be getting my order for at least two weeks. The customer service person was extremely unhelpful and acted like she could care less and didn’t try to help. I can say after this expierence I don’t care if I have to pay more somewhere else I will not be using them again. If you say 4-7 days it should be 4-7 days and not an additional 3 days processing and then not include weekends, they waited until right befor the weekend to process when I ordered on a tuesday so I have to wait an additional 4 days plus the 3 days it took them to process it then another 7 days for shipping, who can wait that long for flea medicine!
